Warrell Creek holds great importance to Gumbaynggirr Elders and People. This importance is defined by the memories and stories of family who lived and spent time hunting and gathering along the river and listening to their ancestors stories. A time that holds the wisdom of how to support the continuation of passing down knowledge from generation to generation, continuing to keep Gumbaynggirr Culture alive, supporting the co-existence of all life.
